One of the pleasures of being a tailor (and I assume a leatherworker) is the ability to craft non-essential but fun items. To be able to create an outfit for just the right occasion.

Addons like Outfitter and ItemRack can be configured to automatically ‘dress’ you for a specific situation, such as fishing, eating, drinking…or a variety of emotes. It’s really up to you.

Of course, it’s meant for situational instances (I use a trash set, a boss set and a frost resist set at the moment) but that doesn’t mean you can’t expand on an addon’s intended use, does it!

The question is, what is appropriate attire for an occasion  – and what is available?

There is a huge amount of gear out there that is purely for fun and can be used in certain situations. That’s just three(!) – what gear do you wear and when for a laugh?

The Warlock's DenNo matter how good a player you think you are, or how well you think you know your class, you can ALWAYS learn more. And each and every one of us goes straight to the internet to do it.

Here’s a definitive list of sites that will improve your WoW experience and you as a player.

These are the ones I use on a regular basis. There other, equally as useful websites out there (“Thottbot!” I hear many of you cry!) and if you think I should know about them – tell me! I’m especially looking for really good Warrior and Rogue sites…

The death of Outfitter?

I mentioned a couple of posts ago that the value of the Outfitter (and similar) addon might just increase with the advent of dual speccing.

I may have got ahead of myself. I certainly didn’t read the entire patch notes! This, from Blizzard:

“A new Gear Manager feature has been added. Players will now be able to save gear sets for easy gear switching.”

So while I thought Patch 3.1 might be a boost to this addon, it might be the death of it instead! We shall see…Gear Manager might not include the customisation of Outfitter and the like.
