Google Wave-d bye bye?
Seriously, anyone know? I downloaded it, installed it, used it, realised no-one else was using it rendering it pointless, and haven’t looked at it since.
Do you use it? Or know anyone that does? For God’s sake, let me know, because Google invested a LOT of time and effort (as did the likes of Mashable! and other commentators) into it and I want to know what it’s FOR!
Help me out…leave a comment or two if you know anyone getting some use out of Google Wave.

I think it was unusable due to the fact that not enough people had accounts, and everyone just gave up on it. If they had made it systemwide, like Google Buzz, it might have worked. I really think that Google Buzz is the replacement for Google Wave. Everyone with Gmail can use Buzz, but you had to have some special invitation to Wave, and there just was no way to “wave” to people who were not in the system.
It was definitely unuseable due to a complete lack of users, but I thought they'd done that to test it out then they'd roll it out to all Gmail users like they did with Buzz (something else I don't like from Google, as it happens!).
Didn't happen though, and it seems like they've given up on it. Like I said, a lot of time and effort went into it and it's just dropped?!
